Hey there—I'm Juan, the hands behind JM Lumber Lab.

What started as a personal passion for woodworking has turned into a one-man shop tucked inside a small garage on the southwest side of Chicago. I design and build all type of furniture.

Every piece that leaves my shop is built by hand using 100% red oak plywood —never melamine, MDF, or particle board. I believe in real materials, simple tools, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time. No factory lines. No shortcuts. Just solid work, built to fit your space and your life.
